Covid-19 update: How I will keep you safe when I reopen
When I finally reopen my doors for business following the lockdown, I will be putting some measures in place to ensure the safety of my patients as well as myself and the other members of staff at @robertjohnsalon.
The first thing is that I will be ensuring there are gaps between appointments, in order to reduce the number of people in the building and to allow me to disinfect my room between patients.
I ask that if you have had any symptoms suggestive of covid-19, such as a cough or a fever, that you do not attend your appointment. If this happens your consultation or your treatment will be moved to a future date at no financial cost to you. If you aren’t sure if you should attend, please contact me to discuss in advance.
I will be checking the temperature of my patients on arrival and if you have a fever of 37.8 or above I will ask that you rebook. I will also ask that you wash your hands before we start .
I will also ask that we consult wearing a face mask. If you don’t own one yourself then I can provide a disposable one for you. When carrying out treatments I will wear PPE including mask, goggles/face shield, apron and gloves.
If possible, I will offer an online consultation instead of a face to face in order to minimise time in the building.
I will finalise everything nearer the time, but rest assured that I will do everything I can to minimise the risk to you.
At the moment I anticipate that my opening date will be Friday 10th July, but this is obviously subject to government advice and industry best practice. I look forward to seeing you very soon!
